Going off to university and living on my own for 4 years taught me a lot. not just academic wise per say, but i have definitely grown as a person. my judgement is better, my morals and personal values are greater, im stronger and more independent. and It makes me just really happy that I am starting to know who I am. My self identity started to become clearer my senior year, because of everything I went through. “You don’t know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you’ve got”. And you know what, after everything I think I did a good job handling it all. I really like who I am becoming. the point of this post is that I have no regrets attending VCU. I am glad I did not transfer my freshman year to VA Tech, because I had thought I made a big mistake and chose the wrong school. Looking back at the wonderful and generous and real friends I made here, I don’t think I would have truly learned these important lessons elsewhere. Richmond,VA will always have a place in my heart; where I keep my friends from here and the memories and good times from the past wonderful 4 years. Cheers to the good and the bad. I am who I am today because of it all.

It’s one thing to wake up with no class because it’s summer break, but its a whole different feeling if the reason is because you’ve graduated. With such great friends and family, I have a lot of hope and happiness for the future. #VCU it’s been real

you know, im always scheduled for the very last exams. vcu just wont let me go without a fight. at least at the end of these long nights, i will see graduation day at hand.
at the end, you think you could never feel the same way about someone else ever again. And youre right. You wont. because when a new beginning comes, you’ll realize what you thought was good is gone, and what you found is so so much better.
