I pity those who act upon a good heart only because they think there’s some massive reward out of it. Truth is, life isn’t always a reward system, but it doesn’t hurt to do something nice for others out of honest sincerity.
i miss the warm weather because biking at night wasnt nearly as bad as it is now. i wouldn’t even mind it actually. it’d be like 2am and i’d bike to someone’s house no problem. now i dont wanna go outside ever because of this poopy richmond weather.
i love my parents. they care about me so much, and i sometimes i forget that other kids’ parents wouldn’t do half as much as mine do for me. no, they dont buy me everything i want, nor do they spoil me. but they give me all the love and affection in the world when i need it the most. im so thankful for my mom and dad. i wish i could repay them for everything.
“I’ve been making a list of the things they don’t teach you at school. They don’t teach you how to love somebody. They don’t teach you how to be famous. They don’t teach you how to be rich or how to be poor. They don’t teach you how to walk away from someone you don’t love any longer. They don’t teach you how to know what’s going on in someone else’s mind. They don’t teach you what to say to someone who’s dying. They don’t teach you anything worth knowing.”—Neil Gaiman (via monsta)
